  • March 2008: Launch of Gloucestershire Nature Map:

This new map produced by the Gloucestershire Biodiversity Partnership shows the best places in the county to maintain and extend terrestrial habitats at a landscape scale. It is a refined version of a South West Nature Map and is a detailed local vision for change. It offers a spatial tool for identifying where action to benefit biodiversity should occur. The map is based on the inclusion of selected existing areas of wildlife value and does not include all areas of importance for biodiversity.
